Where do I find my vehicle tax rate?+
In the tax service's reference section on rates and reliefs: choose region, year and vehicle type. Rates step up by power band.
Why do insurers quote different premiums?+
Each picks its base tariff within the regulator's corridor. The coefficients are identical everywhere.
How accurate is the import calculation?+
It shows the order of magnitude at current rates. Verify against the present decree before committing — the rates change often.
What does a kilometre really cost?+
Fuel is about half of it. Adding depreciation, tyres, oil, insurance and tax roughly doubles the figure.
